We are the
first believers

A handful of world-class entrepreneurs are born every year.

We are entrepreneurs too, and have designed from scratch the ideal partner for these unique people.

A meaningful check at Day One, often even before the company actually exists.

A responsive, reliable and knowledgeable counterpart with aligned interests.

A long-term relationship we hope will last a decade.

We are Frst.

Pierre Entremont
Co-Founder & Partner
Pierre started as a Seed investor in 2015, when Bruno and him debuted together. In 2019, they doubled down on their partnership and launched Frst.

Passionate about how companies are born, grow and die, Pierre previously approached the matter from many standpoints: entrepreneurship (ecommerce company sold while at school), company building (eFounders/Hexa, Rocket Internet), Private Equity (IK Investment Partners), and Management Consulting (McKinsey).

While he was an entrepreneur, Pierre also-cofounded the "Les Pigeons" movement (2012), which led to a significant legal change in favor of French startups.

Bruno Raillard
Co-Founder & Partner
Bruno launched Otium Venture in 2015 with Pierre, with the goal to bring the high-conviction mindset to seed investing in France. In 2019, they doubled down on their partnership and launched Frst.

Prior to that, Bruno has occupied various positions in financial consulting (EY, Eight Advisory), Private Equity investment (Otium Capital) and general management (Gault&Millau) with companies ranging from SMBs to large enterprises.

Samuel Fitoussi
Associate
Samuel joined Frst in 2025, driven by a desire to work at the heart of what he saw as the most consequential technological and anthropological change in human history. Before this, he spent three years building an education consultancy company.

In parallel, he became one of the most read young voices in French public debate: a columnist for Le Figaro, a contributor to several think-tanks, and the author of three books on ideological bias and the spread of ideas, including Pourquoi les intellectuels se trompent, winner of the 2026 Prix Victor Hugo. He studied at the University of Cambridge.
Lio Elalouf- FRST Profile Picture
Lio Elalouf
Analyst
Lio joined Frst in 2026 to explore the frontier of AI alongside the most ambitious founders of her generation.

She previously lived in New York, where she taught game theory, worked with an accelerator, and began her career in venture capital.

They are Frst

As Day One investors, we make most of our decisions in 2 meetings and 48 hours while companies have no team, no product, and aren’t incorporated yet. Our average first check is $2m, with significant variance.

We are currently investing through our third fund, Frst 3, which raised $100m in 2023.

Since we started 10 years ago, we deployed $200m into 70 companies, which have collectively attracted $10b to date.

They believed in us as much as we believed in them, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
